My friends and I come here after work for lunch sometimes and it always hits the spot. Perfect for a rainy day and a good substitute for soup, in my opinion. The crab ragoons are hands down the best I’ve ever had so don’t sleep on those. Super friendly and eclectic staff. I’ve read a few of the reviews that say the dumplings are bland so to that I say, that’s what the sauces are for and they’re delicious! :)
Had to go try the new dim sum menu…not disappointed. Tried several yummy items. Loved the mini cheese dumplings and veggie egg rolls. Extra special was the root beer on tap. Will be back to try more things.
First time visit. Had to stop in for dinner since Guy Fieri stopped by for DDD! This place serves up some tasty dumplings for sure. We shared 3 dumplings, the 4 cheese pizza, the pad Thai, and the Chinese Pork. Amazing texture and flavors! The side dipping sauces were amazing as well. Our favorite was the Cilantro Peanut. We also had the Pinapple Coconut Sticky Rice. OMG! The restaurant was very clean and the guy at the counter was very helpful. We will back on our next trip to Bend!
The good was amazing! Got some dumplings and the curry bowl. Everything that everyone got was delicious. The front counter guy was so sweet with us and with our baby. The owner, Dan, was really nice too. Great place and can't wait to come back. Got some dumplings to go!!
The food here was super good. THE bestest Crab ragoon I've had. Perfect amount creamy and crab 🦀 and the homemade dipping sauce 👌🏽! The dumplings we on point😋
The pizza dumplings are an absolute highlight! Such a clever delicious fusion. There was a slight mistake with our order, and they comped the accidental item and replaced it immediately. Great service! Would go back in a heartbeat. Good dog-friendly patio too!
Somehow it seemed fitting that it was snowing during our visit to “Dump City Dumplings.” While it may not have been snowing enough to say that it was “dumping” outside, it sure did add to the ambience of our meal.
In my estimation, there are likely two schools of thought when it comes to dumplings. I think you’ve got the “I’m all about the dumplings!” person and the “Ok, I’ll try dumplings once” person.
If you are of the latter ilk and are still riding the fence on this one, please know that while dumplings are featured here, there are other options available (including Vegan choices). For example, I sampled the Roujiamo Pork Bowl and Cucumber Salad and they were both outstanding. Also know that introducing your little ones to the dumpling experience is easier than you think given the selections featured on their kid’s menu.
If you do choose to sample their dumplings (and you should!) you have to consider their dessert dumpling (filled with strawberry jam that you then dip in a lovely coconut sauce). While perhaps not for everyone (and I admit to being hesitant at first), it was by far my favorite of the dumplings that I sampled.
By the power vested in me, I hereby proclaim 2023 “The Year of the Dumpling!” 🥟
And that’s…Henry’s Take.

Okay for a quick bite. To be honest, this restaurants biggest downfall is that its unclear what theyre going for. Technically these are considered "dumplings"... But with their logo, and their main menu item being "Chinese style pork", it made us expect Chinese hum bao. We were all pretty disappointed.
There isn't much of a dough. I might not be able to put this nicely, but truly the best way to describe these would be a saggy bag. Not sure where in China they think this pork resembles. Just because you use ginger and sesame doesn't make it "Chinese style" pork. Plus they use some type of shredded pork, which Ive never seen in Chinese cuisine... I was expecting something like cha siu.. On their frozen packaged dumplings they have Chinese characters for the words bao.. Which does not work in their favor because if they were going for baos.. They've failed horribly..
The mango sticky rice I was super excited for, but it was made with unripe mango and not-sticky rice. It was either just short grain non-glutinous rice or it wasn't cooked with enough water because it was not sticky...
I guess this is a fun idea for those who want a quick bite to eat, but all I'm going to say is dont expect "dumplings"... These are the most interesting dumplings Ive ever had. I liked the name because it felt ironic but to be honest we left feeling like they were pretty dumpy 😬
